Telehealth is a great option for repeat scripts and referrals, medical certificates, or if you need to discuss eligibility for COVID antiviral medication. Medicare rebates apply if you’ve been in to see us in the past 12 months.

If unwell when visiting in person, please put on a mask when you come in (supplied at reception).

Weekend Appointments

Your weekdays are busy and you don’t want to wait for hours in Emergency on the weekend. Why not book in for a Saturday or Sunday morning private consultation?

MyMedicare

MyMedicare registration aims to improve long term health outcomes. It enables you to access rebates for services such as long telehealth appointments and from November 2024, you’ll need to be registered with us to access Medicare benefits such as GP Management Plans.

Self-register using MyGov or the Medicare Express Plus phone app, or speak to Reception for help.

Get Vaxxed

2024 Influenza vaccines are now available - book on HotDoc or ask for one at your next consultation. Flu shots for 5-64yo are $25, or free for patients aged <5 or 65+. If aged 18+, you might also be eligible for a free COVID-19 XBB.1.5 booster at the same time.

Kids aged 5-11 and not yet immunised against COVID-19 can be booked in for 2 doses of Paediatric Pfizer (given 8 weeks apart).

Billing

All doctors at WGP privately bill everyone except for our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander patients.

Unfortunately, our books are currently closed for new patients.

Due to the need to maintain viability, no new bulk billed patients can be accepted until government policies change on primary care funding. Fees on privately billed patients will also increase if our independent GPs become subject to Payroll Tax in the ACT.
